It’s been about a month since we premiered our Power Sellers ad campaign, in which we showcased some of our most successful merchants on the Qoo10 platform. You may have seen some of these across Somerset MRT, Bugis MRT, or bus stops all around the island.
The creative concept for this campaign communicates the simple but powerful message that Qoo10 and its sellers – of all tiers – are tapped in to our customers’ needs and wants. Be it beauty, fashion, home storage, home electronics, gaming, health and fitness, or more, Qoo10 with its wide range of merchants have got you covered. This was brought to life in our video ad, which shows our Power Seller merchants’ signature products in the hands of happy, satisfied customers.
The main shoot for the still posters and video ad took place across two days – one for our featured merchants, and one for the awesome talents playing the role of our customers. Here’s our behind-the-scenes look into the merchants’ shoot!
Our merchants are undoubtedly good at selling their wares and running a fast-moving e-commerce operation, but at the shoot, we put their acting chops to the test! Here’s Cocomo, OOTD_SG, and Citylife Singapore toying around with their most well known products while the camera rolls in the darkness.
You may recognize these other faces too. Here’s Jerry from Minihelpers SG chatting with Qishan from Qisahn, and Sean from Parisilk, as they wait for their turn in front of the lens.
While the stars of the day strut their stuff in front of the camera, we have the many crew members behind the camera to thank for breathing life into this vision. Here’s our marketing team leader (centre in white shirt) deep in discussion with our agency’s creative directors, shoot director, and crew as they watch the shoot’s proceedings via remote monitor (how cool is technology amirite??).
In subsequent pictures, our shoot director is deep in thought to ensure they get the exact shot they need, while our ultra-attentive stylist for the day discuss what needs to be done to keep our merchants looking sharp.
